LAW OF RETURN DECLARED BY ISRAEL

 

July 15, 1950

Israel declares the Law of Return, allowing any Jew anywhere to claim Israeli nationality, even if they are recent converts who have no connection to the land. Ironically, Israel will not recognize the Palestinians Right to Return which is provided by International Law. Millions of Palestinians who were born in Palestine and own homes and land there are not allowed to return, reinforcing the fact that Israel is truly an Apartheid state.

BEIRUT MASSACRE

 

July 17, 1981

Israeli warplanes staged several raids on many parts of Beirut, Ouzai, Ramlet, Al Baida, Fakhani, Chatila and the area of the Arab University, killing 150 citizens and wounding 600.

ERETZ CHECKPOINT MASSACRE

 

July 17, 1994

This disgusting massacre against Palestinian workers occurred at a military checkpoint (Eretz). Eyewitnesses and Israeli sources reported that 11 Palestinians were shot dead and 200 injured. Four Israeli tanks and helicopters were brought by the occupation forces, while a number of settlers were taking part in firing at Palestinians.
