Well, I guess free is free and hope that mwb is still rated well by those who rate them.
Thanks David.

Bill,
From what I can tell the equivalent of a quick scan is now only available if you're using the paid version or if you're using the free version with the 60-day trial to try out the pro version. With the free version, you just get threat scan and custom scan.

Hi david,

First thing I go in, and I get two choices

Later and okay

Neither jaws curser or invisible curser can tell me what is being asked in my “speaks all” (not highlighted or none) option.

Okay, I had to go past dashboard for this to show.

I did right arrow to dashboard and then it shows that it was asking to update (I wouldn’t want to assume, or act on an assumtion, that could be dangerous).

Wow, I just had a poke around there, and compared to other programs, this feels like a toy, or a dumbed down program, with very limited options. I think it is the accessibility. At no time did the jfw cursor show me anything.

I hope it is a worthy scan tool as it feels like I can do little other than turn it on and let it run.yes, there are settings but It feels like a lunch in which I’m asked

“you want sandwich” (I say “what kind)

It says “sandwich”.

Should I expect more? Is this a trust thing or is it really giving us the dumbed down look?

Sorry if I’ve offended, and thanks for reading.

Interesting. From the dashboard tab, which might be read as a radio button, I press right arrow to move to the scan tab.
From there, as I press the tab key I find a "threat scan" which appears to be a full scan, and another press of the tab key moves me to the "custom scan" button, which should allow me to specify certain folders I want to scan. Yes, there doesn't seem to be a quick scan option.

Hi,

I upgraded the malewarebytes program and find it less accessible.

I can no longer choose between quick and full scan even.

Just can’t navigate.
