Hi Dave,
Got an off list email and that is what I wanted. I got there in a slightly
different manner (as you taught me from the first, many ways to do the same
thing) but from "general to view" was the same and that is the list I wanted.
Thank you.
Best
P.S. If you need anything, anything, right me off list;

Hi.
Yes, I think you want folder options to do this.
To get there, open an Explorer window by opening either Documents, Computer,
Downloads, etc.
Press alt-t for the tools menu.
Press O for options.
You'll be in a multi-page dialog box.
Press ctrl-tab, which moves you from the "general" page over to the "view" page.
Tab a few times and you will be in a treeview of around 20 or so items which I
think are what you're looking for.

Hello folks,
Do any of you know where I might find the options to do things like
Hide system files and the like?
I was trying to set permissions to unclog a restore function, by instructions on
the net, and it didn't work. Didn't break anything, just can't find where to
choose to not show them, so they do not get blitzed.
Thanks for any help.
