Yes, I think you want folder options to do this.
To get there, open an Explorer window by opening either Documents,
Computer, Downloads, etc.
Press alt-t for the tools menu.
Press O for options.
You'll be in a multi-page dialog box.
Press ctrl-tab, which moves you from the "general" page over to the
"view" page.
Tab a few times and you will be in a treeview of around 20 or so items
which I think are what you're looking for.
