Hi, Kimberly.

Here's how to manually force NVDA to check for and download updates.

Press insert-N for the NVDA menu.

Arrow down to the Help submenu and press enter.

Arrow down to Check for Updates and press enter.

It should locate the update. Tab to Download and Install and press enter.

The next screen will ask if you'd like to dontate to NV Access. Of course, you may do this but there is no obligation to do so, so you can feel free to either choose to donate or not to donate.

At that point, the update should download and install.

If your user account control settings are set to warn you of system changes, you will be asked to allow NVDA to make changes to your system.

Hi David and all,

What is the best/easiest way to update NvDA? I saw the update message recently but missed doing it that way. What is the next best way?

Thanks,

Kimberly
