Merv, I didn't look at the Linio Pocket's dimensions but I got the impression
that it was roughly the same size, more or less, as the Plextalk Pocket which
FS distributes. I own one of these and find it OK as a book player but I wish
that it could download books directly. I never understood why this feature was
never implemented, considering that it could go online to directly download
podcasts as well as play radio feeds. If it can do that I am baffled as to why
they never allowed it to go online to directly download books. I guess the
Linio Pocket fills that gap as it includes Daisy online capabilities, internal
storage and a Capela voices.

That sounds like a plan. I was actually going to shoot you an email today.
Yesterday you sent out something about the new Plextalk Lineo I think or
recently. Do you know if that is portable or how small that is? I know the
little portable pocket thing that Freedom sold was rather underwhelming a
few years ago. But I keep getting questions about it. I could probably go
see if they translated the dimensions from Japanese but I thought maybe you
might know how small they are and how they did with downloaded audio books.

Also, the last Friday in December occurs on Christmas Day. We normally break
from meetings in December and I think we should continue that tradition and
not have a December meeting, as many of us are involved with Hannukkah or
Christmas events during the month of December. Of course, the list will be
up whenever you need it.
