And though my writing should have said "I'm not looking for argument" as I
didn't want to seem very unthankful today, all of the factors combined with my
previous experience with their website and ads did not add up to happy.

Do you mean to tell me that Google actually places ads on Web sites?
Sorry, I couldn't resist. I use an ad blocker so often that, when I use a
computer without one, it's always like a rude awakening as I have to wade
through the sponsored ads. If you use Adblockplus I guarantee you won't see
many, possibly any more sponsored ads. There is even a version for Internet
Explorer which seems to work but I find no accessible way to access its options
dialog.
