AI Square's security keys for all of its software got hacked and
apparently their phone system was also compromised.

Subject: [blind-philly-comp] About tec support for Window Eyes
Hi, Guys;
I ran into some problems with my W-E new version 9.5.4 yesterday. I called
A-I Squared, the Zoom Text company that bought out GWMicro. When I dialed
their number and pressed the number for tec support, I was given a message
to dial another number, which turned out to be the toll-free number for
Freedom Scientific. I waited on hold for nearly an hour. When a tec finally
took my call, he admitted he didn't know much about Window Eyes. He asked
me
for my serial number, which I have but without dashes. I don't have dashes.
GW Micro didn't include them in newer versions of the discs. I do have all
my discs from most versions probably 7.5 and later. Anyway, he said he'd
have someone else call me today but nobody did. I managed to work around
yesterday's issues but I'm concerned about future problems. I may need to
join a user list for help in future. Hopefully I can get that info from
you,
if not from A-I squared. I'm mentioning this situation here in case
others may be using this screen reader besides me.
