Bob, I alluded to the same sentiments in my response to Carl. If we actually
ever let the general public take over the government we would end up with a
facist theocracy.

IT is sad to see my fear confirmed. Ever since the horrible attacks of 911,
I've had the distinct feeling that too damned many Americans act like a bunch
of scared little rabits stuck in the fetal position to such an extent that they
don't mind tossing both our Bill of Rights and the plaque on the Statue of
Liberty to the wind.
This article is proof that this dangerous frame of mind has not subsided.
Those who would sacrifice liberty in the name of security deserve neither
according to Benjamine Franklin.
