[bksvol-discuss] Re: volunteers : was: A Plan for More Work (was Acdcent Marks)

Hi Everyone,

Please hold off on creating a list of scanners and proofreaders that is
publically available. Many people prefer to keep their e-mail addresses
more private than that.

I'll talk with other staff this week and see what we can do about providing
that kind of list with permission of all involved.

Mayrie

I agree with Jackie that that would be a good idea. Years ago I could have
compiled such a list for you but I think the lists from which I wold get the
names are long gone.I can check my trash folder, though.
If people want to send me their names and what category  they fall into,
i.e., proofers, image-describers0 and/or  scanners,  (This latter group
would be the people  who have access to and are interested in locating books
not
already in the collection, smile (no one is likely to scan books already in
the collection; and some may not want to scan books that might be replaced
by PQ books.
