Thanks, Dan. I made those changes, so now I should be all set.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] seeing paragraph, section, pagebreak markers in MS
Word

Hi,

This is in response to Caitlyn's question to me about how to do validating
with MS Word so that I can see the markers in the subject. With out making
these settings I can not. Also, there is currently a problem with Jaws 10
and Word so that page breaks are not announced. This is more effective at
this time using Jaws 9 or earlier.

I go to tools -- options and press enter. I next make sure I am in the view

tab. Do this by back tabbing and make sure it says view. If it does not
then cursor left or right until you do hear view tab.

At this point I tab through the choices and make sure the following are all
checked. This gives me the best feedback while validating.

field codes
tab characters
paragraph marks
optional hyphens

I next tab until I hear OK and press enter.

Once these settings are done the markers will show up for all Word
documents. You won't have to do this again unless you need to change them.

I hope this helps.
