I don't know anything about finereader, but I use OmniPage. What resolution are you scanning with? I try to use 300 DPI, unless it's low quality paper or small printing, when I go to 400 DPI. Black and white color setting. It's hard to answer your question without more information about how you are scanning, and all your settings, what brand of scanner, etc.- Karen At 05:57 PM 9/16/2008, you wrote:Hi, I started scanning a new book and if I recognize it with omnipage I get page numbers but a word in every other page is messed up, if I switch to finereader, I loose the page numbers but the book is letter perfect. What would you do, which recognition would you go with?Julia To unsubscribe from this list send a blank Email to bksvol-discuss-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxput the word 'unsubscribe' by itself in the subject line.
