Hi Ellen,

You should leave the apostrophes alone. That is how the book was printed,
and so we leave it as is.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] question about quotes

Hi group,

I realize I probably won't get an answer until later, but I have a question.
I'm proofing a book that is written in British English, and single quotes,
or apostrophes, are used around lines of dialogue in the original scan.
Should they stay as such, or should I change them to regular quotation marks
to be consistent with Braille conventions?

Thank you,

Ellen
