There is another important point here:
If a validator attempts to return a validated book in a wrong form, the
system will block that attempt.
So as long as Lissi (or anyone) is sure that they're sending back the
right book, the system will ensure that the returned file is what it
expects; and, if it isn't, you will know that.
As for time, there is no rhyme or reason as to how long it can take for a
validated book to receive administrator approval.
It could happen in one hour, one week, one month, et al.
What I would do, if I am interested, is occasionally check the Step 1 page
to see if the book, for whatever reason, gets kicked back.
If it does, a reason will be indicated with the comments.
These typically are for such things as copyright verification, incorrect
or incomplete author/title, verification of page breaks being in the file,
and stuff like that.
