[bksvol-discuss] fixing rather than scanning

I will fix rather than scan particularly if it is a book I can't get
readily. My library has a two books at a time limit for interlibrary loan
so I am learning to be patient, smile.

The vision must be followed by the venture. It is not enough to
stare up the steps - we must step up the stairs.

I was just curious. You've answered my question
(smile). If you can get the book and can get a better
scan go for it. It would make a validator's job easier
and I know you like to scan. As you know, I don't
really like to -- at least whole books -- and so I
spend more time than certain people would approve of
to validate poor books rather than rescan them.
