Hi Cindy, If you change the width of your MS Word window, the dashes will be displayed next to each other. The only reason they are split is due to wrapping the text in the window. It's just how they are displayed, nothing to be concerned about as far as the final book is concerned. I suppose if the pages aren't being printed the side margins don't matter?
