I think that is a good idea to have a list of some common items to do global
searches for. I have been thinking of compiling a list, but have not.
The famous number 1 for the word I is still plaguing me.

Am I the only 1? Am 1 the only I?
I eye eye!

I also had this book where I was getting hyphens in front of every w. And
then I had this thing called a vertical bar which was appearing. Stuff like
that in addition to the words maybe could be used. But your list is the
best. Let's build on it and put it on the Tips page.

That list you have the d l e for the t h e word - that is a good one.

Wow, we are gonna lick this thing, aren't we?
Okay, back to the courageous work to which we are relentlessly bound.
Grin.

Thanks.
Rik

I first do rank spelling. Then I do a search for "of die" "in die" and
"with die". If none show up the likelihood is the issue is not present in
a particular book. I also might search fir diem and diese but rank
spelling would have found those for me. The thing is, using it makes it
possible for a validator to quickly spot patterns and then perhaps
selectively use find and replace. But context is so important that
noticing the pattern helps fix things in batches.

Do folks think this is a good edition for tips list?

We can name it "the die strategy".
