Okay, I just checked the same books in the daisy format, and they are in better shape. The pagination is accurate, and you can tell where the chapters are. One book is still missing the words Chapter but the numbers are there so that's good. The other one is perfect, the one that had the word Chapter but was missing the chapter numbers in the braille file. I suspect the reason the numbers were missing in the .brf file is due to the same bug that causes the page numbers not to translate consistently. So it looks like the stripper is partly the problem, and the braille translation contributes to the problem too. But hey, I'm calmer now, since I know the formatting is for the most part intact in the daisy format. So it looks like if chapters are important to people, they're more likely to show up in the Daisy format. I'm glad we have that option, because I know we've all been going to a lot of extra work these days to preserve formatting. Pam
