Actually this particular chat client allows only 1 person to speak at a
time. So no talking over each other.

I don't know if I will ever make it to one of the chat sessions, but I'm a weird person who actually likes to chat by typing. Maybe it's because I usually have some stupid microphone or connection problem when trying to voice chat, and even more often can't cut in to say something fast enough. I guess typing kind of levels the playing field for me, because I think of something to say and say it at a below average speed, but although I type much slower than I talk, I am somewhat above average in my typing speed. Besides, no one can interrupt or drown you out in a text chat session. :-)
Now I should really be cleaning my kitchen counters and table, or updating my website instead of reading or writing E-mail.

Pratik,
That certainly is a generous offer. I don't know what to say except that maybe anyone else who is deaf would enjoy that as well!!!
I salute you!

Hi Sue,
No, but most chat programs have two ways for chatting. One is talking, the
other is typing. You would miss out on what was said, but if people knew you
were there they would type back and forth with you. Maybe someone who types
really fast could transcribe the audio for you.
