On your newWord? Cool.Ido tend to use my keyboard most of the time  for those 
when I'm  proofing, THere are times, thourh--I can't think of the exact 
instances, when I want to use the ones on the ruler. With the Word that came 
with my new computer I have to open a format palette, which shows up on the 
side of my file, sometime blocking part of the print. I

Cindy, my toolbar has bold, italic and underline. But I still do those just by 
control b, control i or control u. I'm too keyboard oriented to reach for the 
mouse and click and then reach back to the keyboard.
