I agree, Jamie. My new computer came with Word 7007; I hate it; it doesn't allow one to put things like the italic and B and zoom on the toolbar. Instead, I have to open a formatting palette. If I'd known and had had a choice I wouldn't have gotten a new computer, but mine was way beyond repair Cindy Wish List (i.e., books wanted added to the collection) and books-being-scanned list available at sites below Wish List: https://wiki.benetech.org/display/BSO/Bookshare+Wish+List Books Being Scanned List: https://wiki.benetech.org/display/BSO/Books+Being+Scanned+List --- On Tue, 3/16/10, Jamie Yates, CPhT <mirxtech@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: From: Jamie Yates, CPhT <mirxtech@xxxxxxxxx> Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: auto format/correct in Word 2007 To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Tuesday, March 16, 2010, 4:18 PM After I rebooted it seemed to keep the changes but we will see. I don't have a lot of time to play with it this week since I am working midnights and sleeping all day. Word 2007 is so different from 2003 and not as easy to find things. I don't know how people without sight use 2007. Word 2003 is so keyboard friendly and 2007 seems to be not friendly to keyboards. -- Jamie in Michigan Currently Reading: Fantasy in Death by J.D.
