Another publisher error I have noticed is that it will say a certain
character said something when quite obviously someone else would have said
it.  I see that in NLS books.

Yep, I've seen d for cl before. I've also seen la for K, so that the word
Kind becomes Land. I can't fathom why this would happen, but I've seen it
often and in a variety of books scanned with various OCR so I know it's
really a scanno.

The kinds of errors that are caused by sloppy copy-editing are usually
things like starting where it should say started.
