Hi E, If, and I grant you that presant circumstances make this not a short but a long term goal, data base software should allow amulti-layered approach to presenting and allowing access to the titles that have been submitted. In such a situation, once a book is submitted to the step one list, the book would be available for validation. after validation, security provisions allow only administrators to upload the title for approval. At this point the book can be approved and moved to the regular collection, moved back to the step-one list or pulled altogether for whatever reason. But throughout the process you would know quickleythe status of your submission, or the scannability of a title. Of course look at the time savings for bookshare not only in handling but in creating all the various lists. Have a Great Day, Tom

What lists are you talking about combining into one list? Step 1 plus what else?
