Hi, Mary and Paula! Yes, I may need to call or e-mail tech support for this
one. <Smile> BTW, I do have the latest patches for 9.0.
Here's an example that hopefully explains what happens. Sometimes, when an
exclamation point is followed by a quotation mark, the exclamation mark
scans as a Capital I. So, instead of "Mary!" you hear or read with the
Braille display, "MaryI" When I find it in Ranked Spelling, it appears that
I can replace that I with an exclamation mark. But then, after I've applied
the changes, the incorrect spelling shows up again. The same thing seems to
happen with the regular spell-checker. I've tried deleting and re-typing,
doing a find and replace, or sometimes just replacing the I with the
exclamation mark. I've tried saving the changes each time I make one. It
eventually seems to get the message, but it can take several tries. The
first time it happened, I thought I must have just thought I corrected it.
Over time, I've realized that it's not me! <Smile>
Anyway, thanks so much for your responses. Hope my description makes sense!

Hi Jana and Paula,
I was kind of thinking Stephen might chime in with the expert answer, as I know he reads this list, at least some times. I am not sure I understood your problem, Jana. I don't think I've seen it before. Could you perhaps
give an example? Or maybe just write directly to the gurus at Kesi and see what they have to say.
