Recently, my library puts synopses online. And I've
not had a problem with Amazon's reviews, but I have
cable  so maybe the regular site loads more quickly
than whatever you're using--though you could try
setting your browser to No Pictures or whatever its
called and see if that speeds things up.

And/or let me know what books you need synopses for
and if I can find them I'll email them to you.
