It's better not to have columns in scanned books. It's better for us to read one column, and have the next column below the first. For vegeatarians it is a great book. Many of the spices listed are the ones that I use. Some of the receipes that I see, I have been doing them. Coming to formating this book I have some questions.Definitely I need all your help. The formating is little bit different. a.. I see the print matter in columns (2 or 3) in most pages. Can I keep the same format?I am doing for the first time such a format. b.. I also see big blank spaces in some pages. I assume these spaces correspond to pictures in the print book. I find it hard to get rid of these spaces. Is it okay if I keep the spaces? c.. Also I see big vertical lines in many pages. I assume these lines may correspond to the borders for the pictures.I can get rid of them by just placing the mouse on them and the cursor becomes a 4 pointed arrow. Then I hit delete key. But there are very small vertical lines that do not get deleted. Can I do any global replace. If so what are the key words used? d.. I have not seen braille books that use columns. Are braille books available in columns? This is only for my information. Many Many thanks for your time and patience. devi Elizabeth and Burton <thoth93@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: Thank you for the vegetarian cookbook. The more vegetarian alternatives I can cook, the more vegetarian is my diet. Again many thanks. E. At 03:45 AM 12/29/2006, you wrote: >Jim, This soul, for one, appreciates your hard work.
