Hi Cindy,
I'll validate it. I think it will be a worthy addition to the
collection. Having said that, I know it's gonna make me mad. I just read
a NY Times book review of it -- and I can pretty well tell it will peeve
me mightily. So maybe you and I can have some theological dialogue in
the midst of our reading the book? Did you buy the book or is it from
the library? Maybe you could lend me the paper copy so I can go through
it page by page like I usually do with the printed copy in front of me?

We should have some fun with the exegesis, yes? Between the two of us?

Devorah

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] The Misunderstood Jew

I am scanning "The Misunderstood Jew", by Amy-Jill LeVine, who is a
New Testament scholar and is an Orthodox Jew. I think it is doable,
but I think someone sighted willhave to validate it, or someone with
ready access to the book and someone who is willing to help that
person with it.

If someone wants to validate it, let me know. Otherwise, I will just
scan it for my personal pleasure.

Cindy Lou Ray. Each day is a new adventure.
