odd, I didn't get that email this time. Smile.

I know what is wrong with the words to know, and wouldn't take much to fix,
just cut and paste the word to go with the definition. I had been working on
those all day and frankly got kind of tired of it.

Have no idea what is wrong with page 4.

release

  Hi Cindy,

The validator of Prairie Dogs DID reject the book. I was the one who returned
it to the download list for more editing, since it seemed that it wasn't a lot
of work to get it up to snuff.
For those newbies who don't know what happens when someone is finished with a
book:
  1) when a validator rejects a book, it goes into the rejection queue where an
admin (like me) looks at it and then either a) rejects it so it's no longer
available for validating, or b) returns it to the download list for more
editing. In both cases, the submitter and validator get emails with comments
about why it was rejected or returned.
  2) when a validator releases a book, it goes back to the download list, and
no one gets an email.
  3) when a validator approves a book, it goes into the approval queue where an
admin (like me) looks at it and then either a) approves the book so that it
goes into the collection, b) rejects it so it's no longer available for
validating, or c) returns it to the download list for more editing. In all
three cases, the submitter and validator get emails with comments that it was
approved or comments about why it was rejected or returned.

Hoping that this is clear to everyone! Carrie

Please, all, be careful to use release when you tell us that you've released
the book back to the download page and reject reject when you indicate to the
administrators that the book can't be fixed and it is deleted from the download
page. Some of us (me, for example) are easily confused. smile

I was confused until I went to the download list and looked for both Prairie
Dogs and Genie.

Prairie Dogs was released, not rejected, and, as Judy says, Carrie explains
why on the comments. Also, the validator explained that there was a problem
with page four.

I can't get the book but maybe if I can see the page I can fix it. I'll write
to Shelley.

I don't know what was wrong with the book Genie, but presumably the submitter
and validator will be informed.
