Hi Cindy,

At first I thought I had copied the wrong title, but Exploring Literature is a NIMAC book.

http://www.bookshare.org/web/SingleTitle.html?submittitleid=48721

If you choose Browse NIMAC from the right hand menu you'll see it show up.

We do have a 1999 edition that is in the general collection though, so maybe that's what you saw?

Sorry, folks, for cluttering the list. I should have
read further before posting.

But if I had, I wouldn't have been able to tell you
that Exploring Literature by Ann Klimas is *not* a
NIMAC book--or, Jake, is that an error in the
collection?

Hi Everyone,

It seems as though there is a bit of a misconception
in regards to Publisher
Quality and NIMAC sourced books. I can see where
this has come from since we
just had a discussion about the limited availability
of NIMAC titles.

I guess the first place to start is to say that one
does not necessarily
mean the other. Yes, NIMAC sourced books will be
flagged with Publisher
Quality, but just because a book is Publisher
Quality does *not* mean that
it is NIMAC sourced.

On Friday we added some of the first NIMAC sourced
books. We also added some
general publisher sourced books with Publisher
Quality.

So, while the title Exploring Literature is NIMAC
sourced, titles like A
Caribbean Mystery by Agatha Cristie is not and is
available to everyone with
Publisher Quality.

For anyone interested, we added 12 NIMAC titles and
20 other publisher
quality books.

Sincerely,
Jake
