Proofreading questionKim, why don't you contact the submitter and ask? The
submitter may still have the book.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Proofreading question

Hi, I'm reading "The Christmas Thief" by Edith Layton. On p. 287 I saw
something prior to the name of the male protagonist Major Maxwell Evers,
i.e. this: "X.". Is this correct in the text? I infer the protagonist is no
longer a soldier. Shouldn't the "X." be "Ex-"? Please verify for me. If the
printed text has these characters in it, I will leave it. If not, I will do
a find-and-replace on it. Thanks much for your help. Regards, Kim.
