Chris I don't know if I'm any help because I'm sighted; I use Word on my
Mac for proofreading; I download the files in rtf, convert to Word and when
I'm' ready to check in the files I convert back to rtf I use Normal in teh
View file, not any of the other thing, e.g. page view; I like to see the
pages breaks, especially when I do the last minute pagination check;
also, because I do have some vision problems, I use the setting to
magnify the page; instead having the page magnification(or whatever it's
called) at 100% I change to 250 ... I just checked the file I'm
working on and I see the magnification s set at 300; I tried 250% just now
and it's doable but it's a strain and it's hard to see if t
here's a space between words

Hello this is Chris
Does anyone use the Mac to proofread?
If anyone knows what program do you use for proofreading?
It turns out that voiceover does not read in draft.
I tried piping in Word m print View and did not work and I also tried it
in draft View with no results I can see the screen enough to know what the
words it is putting on the screen but trying to read lots of words is very
difficult out voiceover to help with the punctuation since I have to use
magnification.
I opened a file that I created using ABBYY Fine reader pro Fort Mac end
the file was assessable in Princeville with plain text but not with the
table of contents it treated it as a field but instead of plain text that
took some Googling to fix the formatting the table of contents that is what
I think I heard so far.
I have talked to Apple and Microsoft Apple says that my settings are
correct 4 voiceover to read back text they suggested me to call Microsoft
they were not very much help however I have not called Microsoft disability
answer desk see what they would have to say.
Any help would be great Target
