Julie, I'm no computer expert, but I do know that cookies are required, and also that each computer has its own identity. Did you go directly to the download page to renew or did you go first to the main page and sign in? Possibly the bookshare site needs to recognize your laptop's id and/or send a cookie. Just a guess -- I'm sure you'll get a more definitive answer from Pratik, Guido or Peter. And thank you and Kellie and all of you for your kind words. I'm having an interesting problem, and I'm not sure why. I have two > books I'm working on validating, and I needed to renew them. My husband just bought me a laptop as an early birthday present, and we got it last week. Last night, and again this afternoon, I tried to renew those two books using the laptop and kept getting a Web page error...I don't remember exactly what it said now, but now that I'm on the PC, I just renewed them with no problem. I don't understand why it would work on the PC but not the laptop. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks, and take care. > Julie Morales > Email and Windows/MSN Messenger: > inlovewithchrist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > If your dog is fat, you aren't getting enough exercise. --Unknown The reason a dog has so many friends is that he wags his tail instead of his tongue. --Anonymous -- _______________________________________________ Find what you are looking for with the Lycos Yellow Pages http://r.lycos.com/r/yp_emailfooter/http://yellowpages.lycos.com/default.asp?SRC=lycos10
