Okay, I'll bite, Judy, got any cookbooks for me? I can promise you I'll be
extremely picky unless and until I have a great desire to throw something
against a wall (must curb these violent tendencies, but when one is dealing
with tech stuff . . . The less said the better.) I have signed up, but want
a file that is interesting, not too long for the first-timer, and, Oh yes,
could definitely stand some mentoring here from BrailleNote users. Regards,

Hi Kim, Bookshare already does have many really great scanners and careful
proofreaders. smile. I know that the books I've done, as well as books
done by many of the other volunteers, are virtually perfect when they enter
the collection. I started proofreading because I was frustrated by
downloading books that weren't perfect, as it seems you are too.
So stick a toe in the water and join us as a volunteer and start
proofreading! smile. The water is fine. smile. Picky is a good thing.
There are several cookbooks waiting to be proofread by someone who is picky.
Hint hint! grin.
