Hi Mayrie!! Thanks for answering.I like your suggestions. I'll move the pages to the end of the book. What about page numbering for those moved pages? Should I keep the numbers adding on to whatever the last actual page number is in the book?
I also like your suggestion about the picture captions, so I will ad [Picture removed.
Picture Caption: (then, whatever the caption is that is there). Debby At 05:29 PM 11/9/2009, Mayrie ReNae wrote
Hi Debby, I always move pages in the middle of the book as you describe to the end of the book so as to preserve proper sequential page numbering. And when labeling the picture captions, I write [Picture Caption: A dog and his boy.] Or whatever the picture caption says. Just what I do. I suppose you could do this if you want to be complete: [Picture removed. Picture Caption: A dog and his boy.] Mayrie -----Original Message----- From: bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Debby Franson Sent: Monday, November 09, 2009 3:16 PM To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Picture Caption Pages Hi everyone! I remember reading in the manual to remove pages that are in the middle of the book if they are just picture pages. I reviewed that section again just now wich also mentioned advertizements. Page 176 has the text of the chapter, then there are several pages with picture captions, and then there is page 177 with more of the chapter text. Do I put the word: [Image] before each caption? Do I move these pages to the end of the book since there is a break in the consecutive numbering of pages, since the picture pages with the captions are not numbered? I don't really want to delete them altogether, since I find it interesting when NLS books include picture captions. Thanks! Debby -- Enjoy what you have rather than desiring what you don't have.
