Hi Lori,
I would remove the word Page if I were validating the book.

So, do you think it advisable for me to remove the word page.

Nobody ever said for certain whether the stripper would take out the word
"page" or not. But I suspect it will, if it is consistently formatted. But
perhaps it may make a difference that the word would be to the left of the
page number on the left hand page. Then, maybe it will just strip the ones
on the right hand page. Since the stripper does not always seem to be
consistent itself, there may be no way of predicting what it will do.

    Hello, Everyone,

Several weeks ago, we had a discussion about writing page numbers with
the word page in front of the number and whether the header would strip that
particular format.

I am validating a book where the page number format is
    Page space number period

This format is consistent on every page. Will the stripper leave this
alone?

I thought I had kept the final outcome of this thread, but did not.

    Thanks.

    Cat Lover Lori
