I know for me, on the speaker they are pretty breathy, the speaker on the unit, but if you plug in a speaker the quality improves.

In my opinion better than Double Talk, but not like the Real Speak Solo or the Voiceware voices.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] OT - voices on Victor Streams?

HI all,

I apologize for this question here but I know no one else who has nay of these devices.

I listened to the sample voices on the HumanWare site and they were severely breathy and distorted. Is this due to listening on the site across the internet or is it really like that listening to the device itself?

Thanks.
