Actually I have one, of the Golden Gate Bridge. When I was in Guide Dog
school we did a week in San Francisco, and I bought souvenirs for everyone
in the family. I have a snow globe, that has the Bridge, and a triangular
shaped building, and one more. hmmmm, smile I don't remember now what they
are. Anyway, there is a raised image on the base of the globe of the
bridge.

Pretty neat.

I collect statues everywhere I have visited. I have a alligator and a
matrigraw mask from New Orleans, a statue of the Space Needle (which the TSA
thought might have been a weapon) and some statues of sea otters, which are
really detailed. We did have a photo or two of Judson and the otters saying
hi, but I seem to have lost those. I have a Trolley car that is a music box
from San Fran too.

The vision must be followed by the venture. It is not enough to
stare up the steps - we must step up the stairs.

I would think someone in New York could get one for
you if you didn't want it too large. Or maybe you
could get one on e-bay. Here iin California there
aren't too many of that particular souveneir, but I'll
be on the lookout just in case. If I can find a model
of the Golden Gate Bridge that isn't too expensive
would you like that?

Your request reminds me of the movie The Lavender Hill
Mob, with Alec Guiness. Did you ever see it? They
stole gold bars and to "hide" them and, I think, move
them to a safe place (out of the country?) they melted
them down and made them into souveneir Eiffel Towers.
Unfortunately, somehow shipments got mixed up and the
gold ones went onto the market -- being sold. I don't
remember the details, but the movie was funny.
