Hi Kelby, If you go to the bookshare site, and then the "volunteer home" page, (assuming you are signed up as a volunteer) look there for a link called "scanning and proofreading manual". In there are tips for both scanning and proofreading using Kurzweil 1000 version 11. Those are the most concise instructions that I know about. Happy scanning! I am wondering if anybody has general tips on scan/recognition settings to make the raw scans come out as good and clean as possible. I am a new user, so I have no idea what works and what doesn't. Any assistance is much appreciated. --- Get FREE High Speed Internet from USFamily.Net! -- http://www.usfamily.net/mkt-freepromo.html --- To unsubscribe from this list send a blank Email to bksvol-discuss-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx put the word 'unsubscribe' by itself in the subject line.
