[bksvol-discuss] Re: OT: E's horrid week--and it has two more days to go.

It may have been a joke, but he responded seriously - to all appearances - to my comments on the subject. I think the Blood and Gold stuff was a joke, not the suggestion about validators reading through books. If I am wrong, then I guess E has company in being foolish, because I took it as serious.

Oh, Elizabeth--What a horrible week you and your dog
have had. I guess I somehow missed why you thought
your dog has lime disease. If it hasn't been diagnosed
yet by a vet, I sincerely hope it isn't that.

I didn't realize that the suggestion that validators
read the whole book was a joke, either. I thought it
was a good idea, but will never happen. A lot of us do
that, though, and correct as we go, and that is why
there are true Excellent copies in the collection.

Apparently suggesting people be required to read the
whole book is supposed
to be a joke at my expense. He did not really mean
it. I did not
understand that I was being laughed at for several
emails either so I can
understand that you thought he was serious.

By the way, I also found out that the info I got
earlier in July saying I
had acquired enough credits for a year's
subscription was an error. My
credits have been corrected I found out today and I
do not in fact have
enough credits for next year. This is not a joke
though some on the list
may find it very funny particularly those without my
pressing money concerns.
