Thanks to you all for your kind wishes and blessings
and congratulations and interest.
I talked to my daughter this morning and we are going
to see her and her daughter shortly. After hours of
labor, but before pushing--smile--he baby wa born by
Caesarian at 2:01 a.m. this morning. Mother and
daughter are doing fine. The baby's name is Ryan
Elizabeth (I was hoping for a more feminine first
name, but...they may add an "n" at the end) and looks
like her father, with her mother's mouth--according to
my daughter. Mark is part Philippino; Dori says Ryan
is very exotic-looking.
Fortunately, and the important thing, is that, as far
as we know now, she's fine. As, unfortunately, so many
of you know, conditions can develop later, but both
parents and family lines are healthy, so hopefully all
will stay well.
Again, I thank you all for you good wishes and
interest.
