HI, Sue. Oh, I can definitely relate! I love to read when the weather has
been too bad for me to get out and do much of anything else. I would
literally cry without my Braille Lite, anyway, I think, but I'd be even more
miserable, if that were possible, if I didn't have it and couldn't get out
to do anything else, either. Take care.

Hi Julie,

I sent my precious M40 to be repaired and it is on its way back. It was
shipped Tues., but with the weather so bad everywhere I suppose UPS will be
slower. Yeah, it is how I read all my books, and with the weather being so
awful here I am really missing it. I only have the one notetaker. Thanks
for commisserating with me. (smile)

Regards,
Sue S.

Oh, Sue, how tragic! <smile> I know how I'd feel if that happened to me! I
hope you have it fixed by now, but yes, it does sound like it needs to be
sent back. I have two Braille Lites, an M20 and an M40. The M20
short-circuited on me and doesn't work now. I was able to get the update
file for the M40 so I'm running the latest firmware on that one now, and
fortunately that's still working, but for how long I don't know. That's how
I do all my reading, so I dread the day when that thing stops working. I
think I'd literally cry if it stopped. I almost did when the M20 stopped
working! <smile> Take care.

Ah alas, I dropped my Braille Lite, and noow the cells on the left side do
not show up. I suppose there is no "quick fix" for this? I suppose it will
have to go to the factory, is that correct?

Sue S.
