No, it's not against policy.  I can't imagine why it would be.  Frankly, I
don't think I've gotten a book from NLS in quite some time.  Maybe a year or
longer, because Bookshare has far better selection, and far more timely.

Hey, that reminds me, aren't there many books on bookshare which are also a
part of the NLS collection? Isn't that against policy?

Hi gang,

Since this has occurred twice in the past few months, I would like to remind
everyone that Bookshare cannot accept books before they are published.
Advance reading copies of books are distributed to various people before
publication, with the proviso that the copies not be given to anyone else.
If someone mails or submits an advance reading copy to Bookshare, someone
somewhere has broken an agreement and we cannot be party to that. So please
do not mail us advance reading copies of books or submit them to the
download list. They won't be put into the collection.
