Hi Sue, redrawing the screen is a function in Window Eyes which causes its browse mode buffer to be reloaded, which basically means that Window Eyes takes another snapshot of the current screen, which does not always get refreshed when you click a link. Don't know whether other screen readers have this function or not. They might but may call it something else, or they may not need such a thing.

Sometimes these can help. If you tried those, then maybe someone elsehas an idea. I tried twice more, and nothing happened. No dropdown box appeared, nothing changed on the screen at all. I am using Window Eyes 8, Internet Explorer 9 and am running Windows 7. Any thoughts? Didn't think this was rocket science. Lori C. To unsubscribe from this list send a blank Email to bksvol-discuss-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxput the word 'unsubscribe' by itself in the subject line.
