Hi Madeleine,
I could help the new volunteer with navigating the Bookshare website and using
Jaws, a Braille display, and/or Microsoft Word to proofread. I do not have
experience proofing text books and have only done one children's book. Even if
I am not able to answer all of her questions, I enjoy discovering answers and
helping others to problem solve.
It is all right if someone else is better qualified or has already offered
assistance. My proofreading has slowed over the summer due to being on vacation.

I have a new volunteer proofreader who has requested a mentor. She is having
trouble navigating the site and getting started. She is very interested in
children's books and textbooks. She is not a member. Does anyone think this
