I agree....and am glad to see new subjects and categories but want the freedom to continue scanning and proofing what I enjoy most.

That makes volunteering fun.

I appreciate MS McNeely's point that the library needs more structure. It is my hope that she will also appreciate the value of scanners contributing what they want to scan and proof readers proofing what they want to read. We will be helped by a more structured collection because it should make things easier to find, especially if we should want to do some research.

Pavi, thanks so much for arranging this introduction for us. Many of us have been hoping, praying, and cheering for having a librarian on staff, so this is excellent news for us. It sounds like Benetech has chosen a woman with the right skills for the job, someone who understands digital books and the mission of Bookshare. This is very cool! (smile)
