I am buried in email so I probably haven't read the beginning of this
conversation. Is Fiona McIntosh the author? Are there some already in the
collection? I just checked my library and it has several books by Fiona
McIntosh, but you could also be talking about a character in a book, so
pardon my lack of knowledge about this conversation.
