Thanks, Ann, for the explanation about the speed of an upload. I have cable, which is fast for lots of things, but I thought uploading off a diskette would take a little more time. Color me "Enlightened." Hugs, Marilyn

Hi all,Marilyn, if you're on Broadband, cable or DSL the process is fast. It may take about a minute for a normal book on DSL, less with cable. Remember you're dealing with files that are in kilobytes, not megabytes like sound files. An average book is between say 100 and 200K this is chicken feed in the eyes of a server and the Internet which moves at 200 kps (Kilobytes per second) or more. Check the upload rate you have. If you're on DSL it may be ten times slower than downloading, but it's still pretty fast.Ann P. -- Ann K.
