Morning all,

I thought Delta Gamma rang a faint bell. So I went to Google whose motto ought to be semper fi. When I looked at the home page for the organization, the bell rang louder, and I remembered that Delta Gamma had something to do with the blind. Lo, and behold, when I checked the link for philanthropy,

https://www.deltagamma.org/foundation/philanthropy-service

I discovered why the bell was ringing so loud it was now jangling my brain!! These women have a stated goal of promoting sight saving and projects for kids who are blind and also for adults who are blind or VI.

Therefore, the leap isn't too great from Delta Gamma to a project for volunteering for Bookshare. I suspect that these wonderful ladies are now engaged in volunteering for Bookshare.

Their holds are supposed to be there, Sue. We've got a World Wide Sorority working for us. Leave 'em alone, my friend, they're friendlies.

I think they're the ones who sell pecans at Christmas time here in Rochester. I always buy a couple of bags through my local chapter of ACB. I do believe those are the same folks. Thanks, Delta Gamma!

Ann P.

I’m seeing all these holds for Delta Gamma. Is that a sorority or something? And should they be on our bksvol checkout list, Madeleine?
