Hi Roger,

Well, actually, you might still want to check the lists of books in process,
which includes the checkout page, books being proofread, the books awaiting
approval list, as well as the places you mention, just to make sure some
other volunteer who doesn't post that he/she is scanning a book hasn't
started on your book and already submitted it.

Sorry to make things sound so complex!

Mayrie

Maybe I should have, but I have not been checking the outsourcer list after
I submit the information that I am beginning to scan a book. Before we had
access to the outsourcer list there were at least two times that I ordered a
book and when it came in I checked the collection only to find out that what
I was about to scan had just been added to the collection through an
outsourcer. In any case, just to be sure I have this right, do I understand
correctly that now it is only necessary to check two lists before scanning a
book, the master list and the collection?
