for a small additional fee you can get any kind of binding you want, spiral,
comb, tooth, whatever. In my opinion, it's worth the bit extra for the spiral
binding. Actually since i don't have an ADF, i get books cut and rebound at the
same time with the rebinding being spiral. That way i can easily scan one page
at a time and the book pages don't come out of order.
